Robert Gillmor MBE (1936 - 2022) was one of the best-known wildlife artists and printmakers in the UK. He illustrated over 200 books since 1958 and was a founding member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. A keen ornithologist, he also served on the council for all three of the national organisations: RSPB, British Ornithologists' Union and the British Trust for Ornithology.
